    About Me

Ducklings and Dolphins will be starting in September 2018. I have been involved in swimming since 1992, starting swimming lessons at the local pool then going to Mansfield Swimming Club to Nottingham NOVA county squad. Once finishing swimming I have been teaching and coaching since 2005 for local councils, schools along with many years at Debbie Pope Swim School. My father was a head coach of a swimming club when I was younger, so teaching and coaching is in my blood. I am STA level 2 qualified along with level 3 first aid at work. Any swim schools I have worked for have progressed from when I have started. I have a huge passion for swimming and working with children as I have also worked in schools since 2009. Ducklings and Dolphins is very technique orientated, but lessons must always be enjoyable, lessons must be fun, but importantly each lesson must show progression in some way to every swimmer/pupil. This has been my ethos when teaching/coaching or educating within schools.
